I was delighted when Chelsea got in touch about scheduling a session, and we were so lucky to squeeze it in before the full force of winter landed in West Michigan. (PS: Can we talk about how amazing Oliver's hair is?! I am officially jealous.)

I don't even know how to describe this amazing afternoon other than saying I will treasure it for a lifetime. Brittany and her family were so kind and warm and enthusiastic, and our lovely Michigan fall was totally showing off. Prepare for a major case of the warm fuzzies, my friends.
I feel like family pictures shouldn't be this much fun, but I'm glad that they are. Dan and Christine invited me to photograph them and their kids this fall, and while I want to say that a good time was had by all, it's safer to say that a good time was had by most (and that Nell probably just needed a snack).
It's hard to put into words how much I loved this session. We had so much fun on our mini-tour of the city (and the squirrels were so friendly, you would have thought we were on the Calvin campus).
I had been looking forward to this session since Allyson and I got it on the calendar, and it was every bit as fun and lovely as I hoped it would be.
