I know I've been throwing a lot of blog posts at you this week, but hang in there with me because you really don't want to miss out on the relaunch of Bad At Math Knits! I've known Stephanie, the creative genius and knitting extraordinaire behind BAM, for nearly ten years. We were suitemates in college, then roommates in Eastown, and now that she's firmly established in Chicago, she graciously introduces me to all the greatest places whenever I'm visiting. She's celebrating one year of BAM with some brand new images (and great new designs!), so if anybody is in the market for Ron Swanson mittens, you're in luck. I'll take the Arrested Development pair, because as we all know, there's always money in the banana stand.
Piper | Three Months
This little heartbreaker absolutely killed me. Piper enjoys listening the oldies (a girl after my own heart!), she's as cute as can be, and the girl knows how to nap! I'm so glad I got to capture some quiet moments of her at home.
Leeland
Photographing this sweet little boy was an absolute dream (plus, can we talk about that romper?!). It was so fun to wander through the park with him, and I'm pretty sure he had an okay time. Also, his peekaboo game is strong--and as he showed me, so are his muscles.
Emma | One
I think one of the greatest perks about being a photographer is getting to watch families grow and change. I met Emma last fall when she was still just a small babe, so it was truly a delight to photograph her for her first birthday. This girl is all smiles and laughs (which is no small thing considering it was about ninety degrees when we shot these). Happy birthday Emma!
Baby Beckett | Newborn
I don't get to spend much time around babies, let alone brand new ones that are still oh-so-tiny, so meeting this little peanut was pretty special. I got to photograph his mom and dad when he was still just a bun in the oven, and I know how excited they are to have Beckett at home with them (and their adorable dogs!).
