This Montana boy and his mom packed a lot of fun into their Michigan vacation, and I'm so glad they invited me to celebrate a very special first birthday with them. That kid is all smiles (especially when he gets to play captain on his grandpa's tugboat), and I loved watching him bask in the glory of turning one. Happy birthday Isaac!
Combing through the pictures from this informal shoot made me so happy, especially considering we shot on one of the stickiest, sweatiest days of summer. These darling kiddos did such a great job following directions! (Although a sweet treat or two probably helped that cause...)
It's been a busy summer, but getting to photograph this beautiful baby girl and her amazing family is definitely one of the highlights. We lucked out with perfect weather and happy kids and snapped some great pictures to commemorate Joelle turning four months old. This one is going to be a heartbreaker, my friends.
I'm not sure I've ever laughed so much during a shoot before, and the giggles come right back just flipping through these images. Tim and Missy were game for an extended walk around Eastown, and these kids were so funny and adventurous and sweet (and remarkably patient considering how long the shoot lasted!). Also, let's cheers to the fact that no one fell in the pond.
Many congratulations to Amy and John! It was so sweet to watch them with their friends and family and their beautiful daughter, and I'm lucky to have been a part of their special day.
